"Our summer camps offer a fun and educational program with beginner and intermediate level camps to choose from. Beginner campers are introduced to the horse with instruction in proper grooming and tacking, and mounted lessons in basic balanced position. Intermediate camps are designed for campers who are proficient in steering at the walk and trot and want to improve their riding skills. The ideal candidate for this position will have a thorough knowledge of horse handling skills, equine safety rules, be willing to work hard and have a good sense of humor. The position is primarily instruction-based in both riding and equestrian care. Topics such as veterinary care, feeding, and parts of tack are covered each day as part of the camp curriculum. Camps run from late June through late August. Please submit a resume, cover letter and three references by May 25th."
